Our Team

Tom Rein founded WPWealth in 2001 with the dream to provide exceptional client service. He is a certified public accountant (CPA), personal financial specialist (PFS) and holds a Series 66 License – Investment Advisor Representative, Group 1 License – Texas Department of Insurance. Daily, he helps many of the firm’s clients with various financial planning and investment matters, including wealth management, investment management services, financial planning, asset protection consulting, estate planning and insurance needs. Additionally, he mentors WPWealth team members on all aspects on business and wealth management issues.

Tom attended the University of Texas at Arlington where he received his B.B.A in Accounting. After graduating, Tom joined Whitley Penn in their tax group, where he spent the first 20 years of his career.  Tom has served on a number of committees and boards through the years. He currently serves as an active member of TD Ameritrade Institutional Advisor Panel and on the Board, Finance and Executive committees for Catholic Charities Fort Worth. Additionally Tom has served on the NTSP Finance Committee, Care N’ Care Board Member, First Trust Advisory Board, United Way Allocation Committee, Rotary International – Fort Worth, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Tarrant County Organization of Professionals, Colleyville/Grapevine Youth Associations, HEB Youth Sports Association, and has volunteered with Meals on Wheels. He is also an active member in the following professional organizations: American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants (TXCPA), Fort Worth Chapter of TSCPA, PFS Section of American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.

Tom is married and has three adult children. He enjoys hanging out with his new grandson, Parker, golfing, and spending time with family.
