As a (CFP) CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER® professional, James focuses on helping clients bring clarity and organization to their financial lives. Whether discussing retirement, investments, tax considerations, or long-term planning goals, he enjoys simplifying complex topics and helping clients understand the “why” behind every recommendation.

James previously worked in the Charles Schwab’s corporate office where he held positions with the advanced broker team, the tax escalation team, acted as a manager in the high-net worth segment ($1 – 20m), and then moved into algorithmic trading and managed products.

James earned his degree in Business Administration from Abilene Christian University, where he was actively involved in athletics, leadership programs, and community service. His commitment to service continues today through volunteer work and pro bono financial planning initiatives.

When he’s away from work, James enjoys spending time with his wife, Presley, and daughter, Nora, as well as reading, camping, hunting, and staying active outdoors.
